Aphorisms

My father had some good sayings. I don’t think I ever heard this one from anyone else:

"A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.”

And he was the first to tell me the second part of this one:

“Time heals all wounds, and wounds all heels.”

Oh, I forgot to say, "Happy New Year, Dear Reader!"
